What can I say, Marco and I spoke on the phone so many times in the months leading up to my wedding that I dubbed him my 'honorary 6th bridesmaid' LOL! He cares SO MUCH about your wedding, you cannot be in better hands. He goes above and beyond in every respect. He is a perfectionist and honestly I had high expectations in my mind for how the bouquet and table flowers would turn out, and when I first walked into the venue all decorated, I was blown away- it looked so beautiful and was even better than I had envisioned. I LOVED my bouquet so much, I literal cried when I had to take it out of the water haha. You will be very pleased if you use Marco for your floral needs!! Highly recommend.

I used Marco for my July 2011 wedding at a vineyard. I didn't know exactly what I wanted except for I wanted spider mums. I said I was happy to hear any suggestions he had. I told him my color scheme which was bright green, yellow with splashes of orange. After showing him a picture of my bridesmaid dresses he said he knew exactly what he'd do. They turned out SO BEAUTIFUL! I received many compliments on them and their vibrant color and uniqueness.
He was so easy to work with, by phone or email. He spent a very, very hot day in the sun setting everything up and did it all with a smile. No doubt you'll have beautiful flowers created by an amazing and kind florist.

Marco Alexzondra Floral and Event Design did an amazing job on my wedding flowers! I couldn't have asked for anything better! My bouquet was sooo gorgeous! Exactly what I pictured in my head and so much more.

Marco was so amazing and so much fun to work with. I sent him a crazy excel sheet full of pictures and he was super excited, which gave me so much confidence and made me super excited too! I live in Los Angeles, so we had many phone conversations and I always enjoyed hearing about his creative process and seeing how he worked. He is really an artist. As expected, our wedding flowers were beyond beautiful. My bouquet was so fantastic and could not have been better. All the guests commented on how beautiful everything was- the table garlands were classic, organic, and modern all at the same time. When I first saw the centerpieces Marco designed in the dining area of my venue, I immediately began to tear up. Marco completely understood the look I was going for and he nailed it! Then I moved into the bridal suite where I saw my bouquet. It took my breath away.

Marco listened to my vision. He consulted my pinterest board for things I liked. Then he spent as much time as we needed to on the phone to discuss what I liked and did not like about specific bouquets. The result was GORGEOUS!!!
Marco also designed my husband's bout from a shot gun shell. My husband even commented on how much he loved it, and he couldn't care less about flowers :)
I'm looking forward to working with him again as I plan my sister's wedding! You will not find a better florist.

Living in Chicago and planning a wedding in Michigan, I was concerned about how to coordinate my wedding. Marco took much of the hassle out of the process! We emailed, met up once, and spoke on the phone a few times. He is friendly, professional, and absolutely giddy about flowers! He loves what he does, and it shows in his work.
The pictures on this website speak for themselves, but what I can also vouch for is his brilliant creativity and vision. I really had no specific idea of what I wanted for flowers, but I had a color scheme in mind and a few things I wanted to avoid. He took my very limited input and created something simply dreamy. You see the arbor pictured on this website? It was barren before he got his hands on it. Incredible work.
In addition to his skill as a florist, Marco is just a lovely person to be around. I felt like we'd been friends for a decade at our very first meeting. If you're looking for a florist who is easy to talk to, and who really listens to you, go with Marco. Oh, and if you do, give him a hug from Erin :)
